Ever feel like you are weighed down by regrets? The solo mom is faced with making decisions that affect her family on a daily basis. Usually she feels alone. Sometimes she allows pride to prevent her from asking for help. So she tells herself she’s alone in this.
Then she makes a life altering decision…out of fear. Because this decision if not made NOW, will trigger unpleasantness she could never endure. She envision being homeless because she can’t pay the rent. Or wonder if she doesn’t send her children to the best (and sometimes most expensive school), if that would harm them.

And she wants to give her children what she did not have…a comfortable place to live. She wants to shelter them from being teased or bullied. So she spends more than she earn.
Because she is afraid. She feels guilty. She have regrets. And feel condemned.
You are not condemned, solo mom. Jesus said to the woman who was caught in adultery, “Neither do I condemn you”.
Stop stoning yourself and accept his forgiveness. Forgive yourself. Love yourself.
